Resuming Collections in the Pews – Nov 30

During the Covid pandemic we had to change many things. We were in the
gym and had to make a reservation to attend Mass. The chairs were 6 feet
apart and sanitized after each Mass by our Maintenance team. The ushers
stood outside with the collection bowls. That practice continued even after
we moved back to the renovated church.

Starting with the Saturday Mass on Nov 30, the ushers will once again pass
the collection bowls in the pews. The collection during the Offertory
represents the congregation giving an offering while the bread and wine are
offered as well.
