The Teaching Mass
"The Eucharistic Revival is intended to be far more than a series of events and programs. It aims to be a movement that enkindles a living relationship with Jesus Christ in the Eucharist and renews the Church." (Bishop Andrew Cozzens, Chair of the U.S. Bishops Conference on Evangelization & Catechesis).
Starting in January, 2023, our parish joined all the other parishes of our Diocese in learning more about and appreciating the great gift that we have in the Holy Eucharist...the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. During the next two years we will be offering ways to deepen our faith and understanding of the Eucharist.
The first way that our churches will begin this revival of our Faith, will be through the use of "Teaching Masses". Each week a different part of the Mass will be highlighted and explained at each of the weekend Masses. It is Bishop Larry's hope that each of us will grow both in knowledge and appreciation for the Eucharist.
