Anointing of the Sick

Due to COVID-19, Anointing of the sick ONLY under dire circumstances
and at the discretion of FATHER Mike.

 

Jesus showed great concern for the bodily and spiritual welfare of the sick and commanded His followers to do the same.  Through the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, Christ strengthens the faithful who are afflicted by illness, providing them with the strongest means of support.  The celebration of this Sacrament is an opportunity for the deepening of the faith of the community who are able to witness the faith and devotion of those being anointed.

 

For hospitalized family members, inform the hospital that the patient is Catholic and ask for the priest is assigned to the hospital.
If the hospital Priest or Chaplain is not available, please contact the Holy Trinity Church office to arrange for a priest to visit and anoint their loved one.
The Deacons and Pastor may also be available for home and hospital visits.
Also, inform Holy Trinity Church of the parishioner’s status so that he/she will be remembered in prayer.
