Hawaii Votes 2020

As we journey through this election season, Bishop Larry is supporting an effort from “KUPUNA POWER” who is partnering with the Office of Elections to educate the elders of our communities on how to vote.  They have provided a link to a brochure that may be shared with your parish.
Here is that link:  http://hawaii-newspaper.com/special_sections/kupuna-power/

Pray for The Elections

Please Pray Daily!

  • For the peace of God and His angelic hosts to cover and protect every polling place across Hawaii.
  • For proper accounting for, and tabulation of, every ballot.
  • For double the normal voter turnout.
  • For voters to cast their ballots for candidates and issues that adhere to biblically and morally sound values.
  • Pray for our nation to elect leaders who fear God. (Ex. 18:21)
  • Pray for the election of leaders who seek solutions for our communities and nation that can only come from the Lord. (Ps. 33:12)
  • Pray for elections to be fair, honest, and without corruption. (Prov. 16:13)
  • Pray for the Church to see the need to repent of personal and national sins in the fear of the Lord. (2 Chr. 7:14; 1 Jn. 1:9; Prov. 9:10)
  • Pray for divine protection over our nation during, and after, the elections. (Prov. 3:5; Ps. 91)
  • Pray that those candidates who know Christ would openly and courageously speak of their faith and stand firm on their biblical principles. (Mt. 5:13-16)
  • Pray for more of God’s Presence to be acknowledged and experienced in our community and our nation. (Ps. 16:11; 2 Cor. 3:17)
